Transfer Rumours: Deadweight Players World Football Clubs Should Sell

Pepe brings a unique role when used in central defense by Jose Mourinho, and his physical style is more than capable of unsettling opposition players, which can therefore bode well for Los Blancos.

However, given the Spanish giants lack of success in both the Champions League and La Liga, the reality is that they need to upgrade at the back. They need to move on from "good" players and bring in world-class players who can instill a security and confidence not seen in recent years at the Bernabeu.

The same cannot be said for Pepe, and after Robert Lewandowski single-handedly knocked Madrid out of the Champions League thanks to Pepe's woeful defending, Madrid would do well to sell him this summer.
