Toronto Maple Leafs: Taking It One Game at a time and Looking Ahead to help Game 6.

A Boston Bruins had an opportunity to close out their first round series while using the Maple Leafs and advance on the second round of a playoffs.

The Blue and White colored needed goalie James Reimer to help play his best game with the series and help him or her steal this match.

Reimer did exactly this as he stood concerning his head and built some incredible saves in the three frames, as the Leafs procured the hard fought victory with a score of 2-1.

The Leafs began each period hemmed for their own zone by this Bruins attackers. There had been some dicey moments, but the Buds could finally leave their own zone safely and bring the game to Boston.

Tyler Bozak was able to win a foot race in the penalty kill against Bruin opponent Andrew Ference and got off an attempt that just slipped underneath Tuukka Rask's arm to earn it 1-0 Leafs.

Clarke MacArthur padded the Leafs lead inside the third, as he made a nice power move to get around Johnny Boychuk before tucking your puck neatly around Rask.

The Leafs couldn't hold the shutout, as these folks were dominated in their own zone on the shift by the dreaded to line of Nathan Horton, Milan Lucic in addition to David Krejci, before Bruin captain Zdeno Chara fired home a target that energized his team and the crowd.

Tyler Bozak then needed a delay of game penalty late within the game that had this Bruins scrambling for the chances to tie it upwards, but the Leafs' charge killers and James Reimer stood tall and held up on win the game.

Looking ahead to Game 6, there are a few clear ideas to what the Leafs need to undertake. They need to carry on and apply pressure through just about all three periods.

They played a good 40 minutes this former game, but after MacArthur scored to position the Leafs up 2-0, the wheels fell off for the club as Boston originated storming back with a vengeance.

The Buds ought to find more effective strategies to break out of their own individual zone and clear that puck deep. Too oftentimes last night the Leafs were unable to clear their own personal zone and this result in numerous Bruin scoring possibilities.

Reimer will need to help make some big saves and the Leafs will probably need to play a full 60 minutes in front of him.
