Real Madrid look to have sealed Jose Mourinho's fate after making a blueprint for Paris Saint-Germain leader Carlo Ancelotti.
The newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions admitted they've been approached by the The spanish language giants, but refused Real Madrid officials the opportunity to speak with Ancelotti.
'They (Real) came and I discussed it with them. Carlo has got a contract with us for one more year…for everyone, he's here next 12 months, ' said PSG predident Nasser al-Khelaifi.
'Very quickly, My partner and i told them: 'If you must have Carlo, you essential info that he has annually left on his deal, so please respect your contract.
'We respect many clubs, we expect a similar in return. Today we should not have the same stature like Real Madrid, but we do deserve the same respect'.
'He apologised and said he had thought Ancelotti's deal was expiring but I told him that was wrong and that Carlo has another year with us. He told me they will take that into akun. '
But despite that setback for Madrid, the news is definetly the final nail within Mourinho's coffin, increasing speculation on the return to former tavern Chelsea.
The 50-year-old was spotted shopping for boxes and packaging in Ikea a while back, although the Blues have suggested these are unwilling to pay £17m to be able to free him from their current contract.
