Mexico compared to. USA: Effect Participants to Watch for in 2014 World Cup Qualifier

Two bitter North American competitors may clash on Tuesday night in Mexico City while the United States and Mexico go face to face with lots at stake. With the 2014 World Cup just more than 16 weeks away, both sides are looking to stand up as much points as you possibly can in the CONCACAF desk so as to make sure that they are one of the 32 groups headed to Brazil next June. While Mexico has owned the Usa south of the edge, the Americans will be a confident lot having received their first gain on Mexican soil in 75 years last summer. With kickoff collection for 10:30 p.m. ET, let's have a closer look at some effect players to help keep an eye fixed on in this essential qualifying clash. Clint Dempsey, United States Of America The 30-year-old forward is a huge goal rating device for the Stars and Stripes in the last seven years, pouring in 32 targets since 2005. Dempsey has performed for the United States in two World Cups and is closing in on his 100 appearance with the senior national team. Dempsey has obtained the last four goals in qualifying for the Americans going back to last October's 3-1 win over Guatemala. Though Dempsey's ability and drive are the two biggest good reasons for his stellar shows on the global level, he is apparently always in the right spot at the right time. Whether it is a set piece or counter attack, make sure you single out No. 8 for the Usa as he will without doubt have a turn in whatever success the Americans obtain against their competitors on Tuesday. Javier Hernandez, Mexico Miguel Tovar/Getty Images Better referred to as Chicharito, Mexico's Javier Hernandez is really a lethal player with the ball in an fighting position. The Manchester United superstar has big-time experience rising from the world's best in the English Premier League and is always a threat to report. The 24-year-old has been rating at a rate for El Tri, netting 30 goals in just 45 appearances. Before he hangs up his shoes he is sixth all-time in Mexican national group record with 30 international goals to his name and will likely surpass Jared Borgetti (46) for first position. Interestingly, he was shutout at Azteca last August if the United States pulled out an unbearable 1-0 pleasant victory. As he's yet to report from the United States Of America, watch for a determined Chicharito on Tuesday. Herculez Gomez, Usa Dustin Bradford/Getty Photographs If Dempsey does not find the back of the net on Tuesday, probably it'll be Herculez Gomez to the relief for the United States. Gomez certainly has a knack for investing in goals, and the Americans will need him to be at his greatest behind enemy lines in Mexico City on Tuesday. Like Dempsey, the Santos Laguna star is in his prime at age 30 and boasts the pace and finishing energy to break through for the Untied States on the street. Gomez scored in two qualifying matches in 2012, including one against Jamaica last September in a 1-0 win on American soil. He will not be hearing cheers from the group now, but I'm sure the boos might seem just as nice when it means the Usa get back house with three things. The Americans and Gomez would undoubtedly have a draw if it can be got by them, but a gain would go an extended towards qualifying for the Planet Cup next summer.
