Borussia Dortmund Confirm Interest In Manchester City Forward ...

The Bundesliga side have been strongly linked with the player's signature in recent weeks and are reportedly preparing a summer bid for the player.

Dortmund are currently drawing up a short list of potential replacements for the outbound Robert Lewandowsi, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich in recent weeks.

The Bundesliga Champions have reportedly identified Dzeko as their preferred replacement for the Polish international.

The Bosnian striker signed for Manchester City for £27 million in 2011 but has struggled to establish himself in the Etihad first-team.

He is reportedly becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of first-team chances as he currently finds himself behind Argentine pair Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero in the pecking order.

Roberto Mancini is keen to revitalise his squad this summer, believing a number of the side who lifted the Premier League trophy last season to have become complacent.

They have lost ground in the race for the title this season to city rivals Manchester United are Mancini may use Dzeko to raise funds for new signings.
