Eredivisie: Twente chief keeping faith with McClaren - ClubCall.com

FC Twente chairman Joop Munsterman has again presented his backing to under-pressure boss Steve McClaren. The former England boss has been criticised in recent weeks following a bad work of form - Twente haven't acquired in six matches and were beaten2-1 on Saturday by Heerenveen.Twente are six points off Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven with only 10 games to go but Munsterman maintains his faith in the Englishman, who remains popular after leading the team for their first-ever league title in 2009."There have been no developments. I am still behind what I have said last Monday," Munsterman told De Telegraaf."For us, the specific situation hasn't changed with this particular beat. It's a stable situation at the club."
